Message from Ellen in Suva, Fiji Islands

Hi, Everyone!
I am very grateful to have been part of the Children of the World series and it would be my greatest interest to be part of the CoW Club.
Now I would like to give you a brief summary on what is happening and how everything is going. I am now 16 years of age and I have left the Holy Trinity Anglican School which was my primary school that I attended when I was part of the Children of the World series. My new school is Saint Joseph's Secondary School and I'm in form 5. I am an Arts student so the subjects I take are: English, Maths, Economics, History, Geography and Typewriting. My favourite subject is Geography. School is now great and heaps of fun. I have two more years left in secondary school and hopefully will then attend University.
Just to add on, since the Fiji kids are known to be good at rugby, I am so happy to inform you that Fiji won the Melrose World Cup T's Rugby held in Hong Kong and we had a public holiday just to celebrate the team's victory. These are just a few insights on what's happening.
Back to the topic of the Children of the World series, I would like to tell you of what it was like to be in the Fiji Islands episode. To start off with, it was an unexpected offer. When I was first asked to be part of the Fiji Islands episode, I agreed instantly because I felt that it was a chance of a lifetime and seeing that it was an educational and very useful production I had to agree and not miss out on such an opportunity. Being interviewed and cameraed was another challenge. It was not in my nature to be interviewed and cameraed, but I tried my best and found out while doing it that it was a great experience and a lot of excitement and enjoyment was involved.
Being in the Fiji Islands episode of Children of the World was a great experience for me and I am very grateful for being part of the series and would like to thank Kanto Productions for giving me such an opportunity.
Thank you, and Best of Luck!
Ellen Moses
